Welcome to the medieval and modernized city Kathmandu. The explorers shall be warmly greeted by the leaders of Best Adventure Travels. We transfer the explorers to Hotel Moonlight for refreshment. In the evening a welcome dinner is set for a briefing session and to heartily welcome the travelers to Nepal by introducing Nepalese cuisine.

We take a ride to Syabrubesi early morning. Our journey to Langtang valley will be through roadways. We drive alongside Trishuli river to Galchhi and Dhunche for nearly 7-8 hours before reaching the habitat of Syabrubesi, the trading post of Kathmandu and Tibet. The place is filled with markets and is the center point of shopping for the locals in Langtang. On a clear day, we get to enjoy the breath-taking view of Ganesh range, Annapurna range and Manaslu.

Taking help of suspension bridge, we walk through the streams of Bhote Koshi river and Langtang river. We shall enjoy exploring the bamboo and oak forests by crossing Pahiro and sub-tropical forests. The forests surrounding Langtang valley is a home of yellow-throat martens, wild boars, langur, monkeys, black bears and red panadas.

We ascend to Rimche and end our trek in Lama Hotel which is at a height of 2480m (8136 ft).

On our fifth day we gently climb uphill from Lama Hotel and enjoy the bright view of waterfalls and mountain landscapes. As we get closer to the meadows of the Ghoda Tabela, we get to see a exotic appearance of Langtang Lirung at a height of 7246m. Walking further, the pavements widen up to yak pastures, Tamang village, water mills and Buddhists prayer wheels. We continue walking and reach Langtang village (3430m/11253 ft). The place is a major economic hub for the villagers, as it filled with lodges, restaurants, and markets

Early morning, we trek to Mundu. We cross several streams, wooden bridge, and moraines before reaching Kyanin Gompa, the oldest Buddhist monastery which is constructed from local woods and stones. Our pathway aligns prayer wheels, scared mounds, chortens, mani walls, and stones craved with prayers on it. Yala peak, Tsergo Li, Kyanjin Ri, and Langtang Lirung are few of the beautiful mountain peaks we get to see from Kyanjin Gompa.

Our first acclimatization day of the 11 days Langtang Valley trek. We are given the option to explore the whole of Kyanjin Gompa valley, cheese factory and understand the local lifestyle, their culture and practiced traditions of Tamang people or climb high to Tserko-Ri (4984m) for an additional thrilling experience of the Langtang ranges surrounding the U-shaped Langtang village. The sunrise from the Tserko-Ri is proven to be an extraordinary experience.

Enjoying the fresh atmosphere, we complete our morning routine and trek downhill to Lama Hotel. The 6-7 hours trek is full of relaxation as we slowly descend down through the forests, streams, terrace fields, and ethnic settlements of Tamang. We enjoy the distinct version of Himalayas from Ghoda Tabela and reside at Lama hotel (2480m/8136ft).

Elevation of Thulo Syabru: 2210m (7251 ft)

An opportunity to retrace back every memory from Lama hotel to Thulo Syabru village. We can again enjoy the missed out natural landscape and settle in for a day at Thulo Syabru village by exploring its major nearest destination and landmark.

We continue through Sherpa habitation to Dhunche (1960m/6430ft). The trail descends to the confluence of Bhote Koshi river and Langtang river. The trekking route is short and easy to walk around. The duration of this trek is 3-4 hours, which we shall progress in a relaxed manner. On reaching Dhunche, we have a rest of the day to enjoy the community lifestyle and eateries.

From Dhunche we drive back to Kathmandu. We again drive back alongside the Trishuli river, and the roundabout roads adjoining the Kathmandu valley. Before reaching Kathmandu, we get to see the flowing river Trishuli flowing behind and in between the mountains. We will be greeted by the green mountains and then by the vibrancy of Kathmandu valley. In the evening, to mark the celebration of accomplishing the 11 days Langtang Valley trek a farewell dinner is organized by Best Adventure Travels where we shall be sharing our stories and the memories of the trip.
