From there we march to Soyambhunath (the monkey temple) the holy place of the Buddhist community situated in the hilltop of Kathmandu. The place welcomes visitors with its positive atmosphere. The low hums, the sound of prayer wheels, the burning lights, the scented candlesticks, religiously awakens the people and draws them towards patriotism. Adding more to the religious destination is the Baudhanath temple. The stupa lies in the center, soaking all of the spiritual vibes, buzzing with energetic people circulating the dome with a butter lamp or the scented candles.

Discovering more about Hindu art, culture and religion is the Pashupatinath temple. Spread across 246 hectors, the land inculcates monuments, and temples, where prayers and rituals are offered every day. The temple premise has a natural landscape surrounded by the rarest vegetation, an animal conservation area, and a flowing river. The place retains the faith in religion and the existence of divinity.

Ason and Indrachok is the historic destination of Kathmandu. The place exists since the rule of the Malla period and till present holds the same tradition, culture, and practice. The alley of Ason, is the ceremonial, market and residential square for the people residing in Kathmandu. Further, the place attracts tourists with its charming ambiance and architectural insights.

Another destination for the day is Bungamati, which is 6km south of Patan. Away from the bustling noise of the city, the village holds ancient tribute dated from the 16^th century. In every 12 years, massive chariot procession takes place worshipping the Red Machhendranath, the god of rain and fertility. While the people for their living, are wholly engaged in wood craving activities.

Khokhona is a kilometer far from Bungamati. A wheel-shaped city inhabited mostly by the Buddhist followers. The place reflects a great piece of artwork highlighting the craftsmanship of 299 A.D.

Bhaktapur and Changu Narayan day tour combine the two-spectacular visit to the UNESCO World Heritage site. Both of these places are located nearby. While Bhaktapur showcase folk culture, ancient art, and culture, Changu Narayan holds religious importance, dedicated to Lord Vishnu. The museum and artwork present the historical frames, while the pagoda style temple has an integrating story of Lord Vishnu and the existence of a temple in the hilltop. From 55-window place to the stone-paved alley’s, courtyard’s, potteries, Bhaktapur is also famous for local eateries of Samya Baji and Ju Ju Dhau “Curd”.

Enjoying Bhaktapur and Changunarayan we head to the spectacular and interesting view of the countryside and mountains. Nagarkot is the nearest and popular destination for sunrise and sunset. A hill station offering a pleasant view of the northern mountains and sunrise and sunset. In the evening we shall grace the setting sun, while in the early morning, we shall experience the first glory of sunrise.
