Upon arrival to Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA), the representatives of Best Adventure Travel shall greet and transfer the trekkers to the ascertained 5-star hotels inside Kathmandu. After refreshments, the team leader shall brief about the whole trekking schedule and conduct an introductory program to familiarize with the rest of the team members. On the second day, we shall escort the explorer to the domestic airport to catch an early flight to Lukla. The 35-40 minutes flight shall be a breath-taking one, as the flight cross the lustrous green forest, and then the shiny white mountains. After landing in the Sir Hillary airport (Lukla airport), we shall greet the rest of the crew members and porters. Thereafter, the trek to Phakding village starts.
Based at the elevation of 2,652m (8,700 ft), Phakding is a small village of the Khumbu region. Surrounding the village, on the north is Monjo and south is Lukla.
The warmup trek begins from the land of Lukla towards Phakding. The journey commences from the walk towards Chaurikharka village and to Dudhkoshi Ghaat (2,530m/ 8,300 ft). On the way, the flowing river of Dudh Koshi shall accompany us, till we reach to the residential area of Phakding. The walk duration of 3-4 hours to Phakding turns out to be an interesting one for we shall cross several traditional houses and monasteries of the Sherpa community.

The fresh air of Phakding is quite fascinating. Taking the amiability prospect of the villages, we en route the voyage towards the Namche Bazar. Alongside Dudh Koshi river we come across Monjo and Jorsale. While walking we shall take the pleasures of snow-capped mountains, Thamserku (6,623m) and Kusum Kanguru (6,369m), while we also venture in the UNESCO listed heritage site Sagarmatha National Park.
Besides the river basins of Bhote Koshi and Dudh Koshi , the park is filled with Birch, Blue Pine and Juniper Berries, with a home of several endangered species.
On reaching Chautara we get the peering view of Nuptse-Lhotse ridge, while the journey to Namche continues.
Situated at a height of 3,440m/11,283 ft, on a slope of an arch-shaped mountain, the place gives an amazing view of the Himalayan and their ranges. The valley is also known as the focal point of trading for the Sherpa community in Khumbu region. The place is prosperous with high-end cafes, eateries and hotels.

On the day of acclimatization, we shall hike or take a rest. The short trekking part starts from the short visit to Syangboche or to the near village of Thame, Khunde and Khumjung.
Acclimatization is needed to prevent Acute Mountain Sickness (AMS). On the way we will visit the Sherpa culture museum, and the Everest Photo Gallery, which highlights the assortments related to the first Everest climbers.

We gradually follow the trail overlooking the magnificent look of Mt.Everest, Mt. Ama Dablam, Mt. Nuptse and Mt. Thamserku. The walk towards Pangboche make us spot wildlife musk deer, pheasant, and the herd of Himalayan Thar.
The path eventually reaches Sansa from the Kayangjuma, a major trail junction of Everest Base Camp and Gokyo. Upon crossing the river of Dudh Koshi, we reach Phunki Thenga, a small settlement area.
Before we halt to Deboche (3820m/12530ft), we shall come across the village of Tengboche, which is surrounded by Imja Khola Rivers and Dudh Koshi. The village is also popular for monasteries and eco-center offering partial entertainment opportunities to the trekkers. The area is equipped with cafes, and bakeries along with short cinematic view. After spending a few hours, we gracefully walk to our destination Deboche.

The downhill walk to Deboche through pine forests, will be accompanied by the grand glimpse of Mt.Lhotse, Mt. Everest, Mt.Nuptse and Mt.Ama Dablam. The pathway from Deboche to Dingboche is dry and rocky.
Crossing the Khumbila Khola, we enter the Imja Valley. The walk from Khumbila is moderate till the Lobuche River. On climbing the steepest pavements of Dingboche, we finally land in the open airy fields, protected by stone walls. The landscape of Dingboche is windy while the pristine glaze of Mt.Everest becomes closer and clear.

On the second acclimatization we shall head to Nagerjun, which is at the height of 5,100m, just above the Dingboche and the edges of Chhukung valley. The hike requires a tremendous amount of energy as the walking duration to the destination is 3-4 hours.
Upon reaching get ready to take the phenomenal outlook of Thamserku (6608m), Lobuche West (6145m), Taboche Peak (6367m), Lobuche East (6119m) and Mt.Makalu and Kangtega (6685m).

Heading on to Dhungla from Dingboche we shall encounter the Everest Aid Post at Pheriche. From there we shall find our way through Chupki Lhara, a tributary area where a tribute is paid to those climbers who lost their life while ascending Everest.
The steep path eventually drops to the Khumbu Glacier, and confronts the great peaks of Lingtren, Pumori, Khumbutse and Mahalangur Himal.
Few turns and bends, we reach Lobuche which is nestled at 4910m (16,109 ft), at the foothill of Mt.Lobuche. As the village is closure to mountain, the atmosphere is extremely cold, but the idea of conquering the EBC trek the next day shall keep us motivated.

The trail from Lobuche to Gorak Shep is interesting as the path goes through the lateral moraine of the Khumbu Glacier. A steady ascent to Thangma Riju, allow us to perceive the crest of Mt. Pumori, Mt.Khumbutse, Mt.Nuptse.
Through steep climbing of Changri Glacier, we see Kala Patthar beneath Mt.Pumori. As we reach Gorak Shep we shall be surrounded by the looming mountains, including Mt. Everest. From there, we shall proceed towards Everest Base Camp (EBC) where the mountain ascenders take acclimatization for days before moving towards Mt. Everest. The area also demonstrates the hazardous routes of Khumbu Icefall.

The dramatic vision of Kala Patthar is witnessing the spellbinding first rays of sunlight. Hence, the walk commences from early morning embracing the cold temperature of Gorak Shep.
Known as the popular vantage point, the area offers a sweeping glaze of Mt. Chagatse, Mt. Pumori, Mt.Khumbutse and Mt. Lhotse. After spending a few hours in appreciating the closer view of Everest we shall head to Pheriche.

Above the Tsola River, Pheriche stands at a height of 4,371m (14,340m). The area is occupied by the rescue team for the evacuation purpose. From the windy area we proceed to Phunki Tenga, and the bridge of Dudh Koshi. The path eventually reaches Sansa, and Kyangjuma (3570m/11,710ft).
Appreciating the gorgeous range of Mt.Nuptse, Mt. Mahalangur, Mt.Pumori, Mt. Ama Dablam, Mt. Thamserku, we cling to the steep slope. On the way we shall look out for mountain goats, colorful pheasants, and yaks.
The magisterial surroundings of mountain keep you intact throughout the 6-7 hours journey. On reaching Namche Bazar, we shall be exploring the unexplored parts and enjoy the final day at Namche.

The trek starts downhill towards the Dudh Koshi river, and bridges. The 6-7 hours hike will encompass the view of flowing river, small Ghompas, Mani-stone walls, Chortens and prayer flags. Adding more glam to the open pines, settlements, and rhododendron forest is the Dudh Koshi river.
We shall cross the rocky terrains, suspension bridges and tributaries. Further, down the lane we notice prayer stones, and also the final glimpse of Mt.Khumbila.

This day is wholly devoted for the sight-seeing of the UNESCO listed World Heritage Sites. We shall take a short trip to Boudhanath, Swayambhunath, and Kathmandu Durbar Square. In the evening, as a farewell dinner program is organized where we shall discuss and share the memories of the 15 days Everest Base Camp trek.
The journey of 15 days Everest Base Camp trek comes to an end. On this day, we shall provide a private transfer which shall drop the trekkers to Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA).
